TRAVEL PROGRAM

• A true mountain excursion, the journey begins with a pickup from your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 AM. We travel to the peaceful village of Mollepata, located northwest of Cusco, where we will stop for breakfast before continuing to the Soraypampa Valley.
• After a brief rest, we start the 7 km (round trip) hike to the famous lagoon, enjoying breathtaking views of the majestic Nevado Humantay (4,200 m.a.s.l.) along the way. We reach the enchanting Laguna Humantay in about one and a half to two hours, depending on our hiking pace. At the shores of the lagoon, the tranquility of its waters and the stunning views of the snow-capped peaks provide for an extraordinary experience.
• We will also see the well-known Nevado Salkantay in the background of the valley, both on the way to and from the lagoon. Finally, we will return to Mollepata for lunch, a chance to rest a bit, and take plenty of photos before heading back to Cusco, concluding a beautiful day of hiking in the Andes.
• We will arrive back at your hotel in Cusco around 6:00 PM.
