Our legacy dates back to 2008, when we launched our first trekking expeditions in the Alto Marañón as a specialized adventure part of High Tours. In the following years, we expanded our operations to the Huayhuash mountain range, as well as to the entire center of Peru. To better reflect our sense and style of adventure, High Tours' adventure division was renamed High Expeditions in late 2014.

High Expeditions was founded as an independent company in 2018 by two brothers who love adventures and expeditions, Miquer Cornelio and Edin R Cornelio, both from the Peruvian Andes, who wanted to create a unique company that would show the best of the Cordillera Huayhuash. and the Alto Marañón through exciting and immersive expeditions for its clients in the Overlanding modality.

Since our inception, we have practiced a simple philosophy; To provide high-quality adventure vacations for small groups of like-minded travelers with a strong alignment with the practice of responsible tourism and a commitment to supporting local communities at all levels of operation.

Today our team is made up of committed and qualified national and foreign collaborators, we share the passion for expeditions and adventures through the most enigmatic places in Peru. As a team we work passionately to take you to explore the Andes, archaeological sites, virgin sections of reserves in the Peruvian Amazon and navigate the mightiest rivers in Peru.
