We then proceed to the venerable Cusco Cathedral, with its marvelous altars carved in various colonial styles and splendid paintings from the Cusqueña School of colonial art.

From there, we visit Qenqo, an ancient place for ceremonies and sacrifices, followed by the Inca military post of Pucapucara (or red stone), which served specific military purposes as the control point for entry to Cusco and also as a resting place.
