TRAVEL PROGRAM

At 7:30 a.m., our team will pick you up from your hotel to begin an unforgettable journey through the northern route of the Callejón de Huaylas, surrounded by the contrasting beauty of the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra.

Our first stop will be in Carhuaz, a charming Andean town known for its traditional atmosphere and delicious handmade fruit ice cream, which you’ll have the chance to taste.

We then continue to the Campo Santo of Yungay, a place of deep historical and emotional significance. Here you’ll visit the White Christ monument, the remains of the old cathedral, and the Garden of Flowers, silent witnesses of the 1970 earthquake and avalanche that buried the city.

Next, we enter the Huascarán National Park and ascend through the Llanganuco Valley to reach the stunning Chinancocha Lagoon (3,850 m.a.s.l.). Surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and high-Andean biodiversity, this turquoise lagoon invites you to enjoy a boat ride or a peaceful walk along its shores, while taking in the breathtaking views of the Cordillera Blanca.

After this experience, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. On the way back, we’ll visit the picturesque town of Taricá, known as the “Land of Artisans,” where you can find beautiful handmade crafts and souvenirs.

We’ll arrive back in Huaraz around 7:30 p.m., bringing an end to an inspiring day filled with natural wonders, culture, and adventure.
