TRAVEL PROGRAM

  • At 7:30 in the morning we depart from the city of Huánuco toward the majestic Pichgacocha Lagoon. The route takes us through the picturesque villages of Conchamarca and Yaurin, before entering the Coquecocha forest, a living sanctuary that hints at the wonders ahead. At Mesapata, our guide shares the essential information to begin the hike, filling every step with anticipation. The trail leads us to the first waterfall, where the power of the water reminds us of the mountain’s purity.
  • We continue on to the five Pichgacocha lagoons, located between 3,700 and 4,000 meters above sea level, interconnected by a stream and suspended at different altitudes like mirrors of water upon the mountains. From the first lagoon we move on to the second, third, fourth, and finally the fifth — each with its own charm, shaping an unforgettable experience that invites us to pause and embrace the greatness of nature.
