Huayhuash Frontier

Considered one of the best trekking routes in the Huayhuash mountain range because it combines the two best regions (Huánuco and Lima). During this walk, you will live a true experience combined with nature in the midst of a multitude of snow-capped mountains such as Jirishanca Grande (6,095 m / 19,996 ft), Jirishanca Chico (5,446 m / 17,867 ft), Yerupajá Grande (6,635 m / 21,768 ft), Yerupajá Chico (6,121 m / 20,082 ft), Siula Grande (6,344 m / 20,813 ft) and Siula Chico (5,680 m / 18,635 ft).

These snow-capped mountains make a perfect combination with the nuances of the mountains, the colors of the Mitucocha, Carhuacocha, Gagrajanca, Siulá, and Quesillococha lagoons, and the flora and fauna of the area. After 4 days of demanding walking, we will make our final stop at the Guñoc Hot Springs, where we will enjoy a delicious bath while observing the landscapes of the area.

Along the way, you will cross high mountain passes with breathtaking panoramic views, reaching altitudes above 4,800 meters, where the Andes reveal their most majestic face. Each day will bring new landscapes: wide valleys, ancient trails, and remote campsites surrounded by towering peaks. This trek is not only a physical challenge, but also a deep connection with the spirit of the mountains and the silence of nature. You will witness unforgettable sunrises reflected on crystal-clear lagoons and star-filled nights in one of the most pristine regions of Peru. Our experienced team will take care of every detail so you can fully enjoy the adventure. This is more than a hike — it is an expedition that will stay with you forever.
